Voice Lessons with Joy Bechtler
Joy Bechtler studied music theory and orchestration with conductor Franco Autori and subsequently earned her master of music degree in voice from the University of Southern California. She has sung and performed in Italy with coaches and conductors of the Metropolitan Opera. Ms. Bechtler studies voice in New York City with Joan Patenaude-Yarnell.
Ms. Bechtler possesses a wide-ranging concert repertoire including the soprano solo from Mahler’s Fourth Symphony, Poulenc’s Gloria, the Rossini Stabat Mater, the Schubert Mass in G, the Saint-Saëns Christmas Oratorio, and a large number of orchestrated songs and opera arias. She is an avid recitalist and has presented many distinctive programs in the U.S. and abroad.
